Last week, the amount of currency transactions at the auction of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to over 35 million 703 thousand US dollars, TDH reports.
For foreign currency, entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan purchased polypropylene, liquefied gas and base oil produced at the technological installations of the Turkmennebit Group of Companies, as well as urea and desulfurized diesel fraction produced by the Turkmenhimiya Group of Companies.
In addition, licorice root extract, dried licorice roots and rhizomes, plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, cotton fabric and yarn, purified cotton waste, and cotton fiber were sold for foreign currency. Buying countries: United Arab Emirates, Serbia, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan.
For the domestic market, Turkmen businessmen purchased polypropylene and petroleum road bitumen produced by the Turkmennebit Group of Companies, float glass, and handmade carpets for a total amount of more than 6 million 997 thousand manats.

Last week, the amount of currency transactions at the auction of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded 70 million 944 thousand US dollars.
The following were purchased for foreign currency: desulfurized diesel fraction, urea, technical sulfuric acid (Turkmenhimiya State Concern), as well as hydrotreated diesel fuel, liquefied gas, petroleum road bitumen, low-sulfur fuel oil, base oil and polypropylene produced at technological installations of state concerns " Turkmennebit" and "Turkmengaz".
Bed linen sets, cotton yarn and fabric were also sold for foreign currency.
Local entrepreneurs purchased polypropylene (GK Turkmennebit), as well as cotton yarn, handmade carpets and licorice root extract for a total amount of more than 42 million 79 thousand manats for the domestic market.
